Not All Nozzles are the Same!
All nozzles are built to a specific size. Every nozzle manufactured has the size (orifice) and the spray angle stamped into the body of the nozzle.
The orifice size must match the specs of your pump in order to create the desired pressure and flow your pressure washer is designed for.
If the nozzle size is too large, you will lose pressure
If the nozzle is too small, you will cause costly repairs to your equipment:
-excessive pump and unloader wear
-increased motor amperage and wear
-burner problems from excessive bypass
Identify Your Nozzle!
All nozzles have a stamped number in the body of the nozzle. It will look like this: 15050
This nozzle is a 15 degree spray pattern as noted by first two numbers (15) separated by a zero and the size of the orifice is 5.0, as noted by the last two numbers
Hotsy has a detailed nozzle selection chart to ensure you are using the right size for your machine. A nozzle selection chart will determine the right size based on the equipment's gallons per minute (GPM) and pounds per square inch (PSI)
