Nozzles - They May Be Small, But They Are Mighty!

NOZZLE NOT WORKING?
A clogged or worn spray nozzle causes big problem but can be fixed quickly. Always check it first and remember a constant flow of water can wear away anything. As water flows through the pressure washer nozzle, the hardened steel of the nozzle will eventually wear away. A worn nozzle orifice REDUCES operating pressure. A good idea is to replace nozzles every 6-12 months and to invest in a pressure gauge to ensure the loss in pressure is nothing more than a worn nozzle and not a pump issue.

ONE NOZZLE DOES NOT FIT ALL!
Hosty has a detailed nozzle selection chart to ensure you are using the right size for your machine. Remember to determine the pressure washer’s gallons per minute ( GPM) and specific pounds per square inch (PSI) when selecting. If the nozzle size is too small, your equipment can be damaged. If the nozzle is too large, cleaning ability is compromised.

SPECIALTY NOZZLES MAKE IT EASY!
What are you trying to clean? Nozzles have different spray patterns that can affect the width and strength of the spray. For instance a 40 ? nozzle delivers a flat spray at roughly a 40 ? angle. The adjustable fan nozzles allow you to do just that, adjust the spray angle from 0 to 80 simply by twisting the nozzle itself, rather that replacing it. This accessory saves a lot of time by eliminating the need to stop and switch nozzles. Specialty nozzles include 0° Red (Cutting) and 15° Yellow (Chiseling) 25° Green (Flushing) 40° White (Wash).

NOT ALL NOZZLES ARE THE SAME – CONSIDER THESE!

Soap Nozzles - Ideal for low pressure chemical applications

Soft Edge & Hard Edge Protectors
- Ideal for protecting sensitive surfaces against damage

Turbo Nozzles - Increases impact pressure by more than 10x’s that of conventional nozzles

Sewer/Tube Cleaning - Reverse jets on the fixed and rotary nozzles pull hose through the tube or sewer line and blast debris from line or tube walls.

Rollover Nozzle - Nozzles on opposite sides for positive change from chemical applications to high pressure rinse.

High/Low Variable Angle – push/pull between high and low pressure; simply twist to adjust from zero to 80 spray fan pattern.
