Effective Use of Detergent:
A pressure washer will be most effective when the correct detergent is being used. There are many types of detergents on the market today but few are specifically formulated for use through a High Pressure Washer. These types of detergents are made to withstand high pressures and are even made to work best at higher temperatures.
A more concentrated detergent will do a better job, last longer and therefore will be cheaper in the long run. Since the chemistry of each individual stain / dirt is different, the chemistry of the detergent must be matched. Also, the surface to be cleaned must be taken into account before choosing the correct detergent. For example, the detergent used to wash road film from a vehicle is not the same detergent that would be used to clean oil stains from a diesel engine. Some detergents are formulated to reduce the possible lime and scale build-up in a washer and keep the internal components of that washer in better working order.
An on-site demonstration would help determine which detergent and concentration will work best with your cleaning challenge. Using the correct detergent, applied properly at the right concentrations is the best way to solve any cleaning situation, economically and efficiently.
